| Our agent in Sri Lanka has notified us of the following new regulation in Colombo pertaining to documentation requirements for Personal Effects shipments. Personal Effects / Household Goods are subject to following requirements: - Both shipper and consignee have to be the same person on the HB/L; - Cargo description must read: “Personal Effects / Household Goods”; - Markings on the goods must carry consignees full name and address. |
